O’HARA TOWNSHIP, Pa. (KNNP) – Heavy rains have flooded local streets throughout the Greater Pittsburgh region today. But O’Hara Township is battling more issues.
The township posted on Twitter the “Emergency Declaration” shortly after 1:00 p.m. today.

Residents were urged to seek higher ground and to leave the low-lying areas.
The township also motioned residents to ask for emergency aid if needed.
Mud and debris can be seen caked on roadways as well.
