FARMINGTON, Pa. (KNNP) – Joshua Myers, a Farmington resident, is currently in federal detention custody following a break in the child pornography case brought against him.
Myers was an Assistant Principal for a school in Virginia. In 2011, he was charged with possessing and distributing child pornography.
Two former roommates spoke to the Pennsylvania State Police. During the interview, witnesses said Myers had a laptop connected to a file sharing server, where nude children were seen.
PSP then searched the work computer, which returned with no results of child porn. Roommates indicate the laptop was last seen in Myers’ room. When PSP served a search warrant, they could not find the laptop in question.
Myers then admitted in a later interview to viewing child pornography. In the same interview, he brought the laptop in question to the barracks. PSP found 613 files containing child pornography on it.
In March of 2019, Myers was taken into federal custody after violating his parole.
