ATLANTIC OCEAN (KNNP) – Hurricane Dorian is making movement northwest towards the eastcoast of the United States, which has scientists worried.
According to various reports, Hurricane Dorian has hit Puerto Rico at an astounding 75 MPH, but is only moving northwest at a track of 13 MPH.
Wind gusts are expected to reach over 115 MPH by Sunday into Monday, which is the projected landfall location of the east coast of Florida. Residents are already preparing for the storm, which is less than one week away from making landfall.
Scientists cannot be sure of the exact landfall location, but a Category 3 or Category 4 hurricane is not out of the question as this prompts the early sstart for the Hurrican Season of the Atlantic Ocean.
